Getting started

Do I really need a website if I already have social media?

Yes, and for one blunt reason: you do not own your social media page. Reach is controlled by an algorithm, posts vanish down the feed, and an account can be restricted without warning.

Your website is the one place customers can always find your hours, prices, services and contact details — and it is what lets you appear in Google search, which is where most buying decisions start.

What does a website cost?

It depends on how many pages you need, whether your content and photos are ready, and whether you want ongoing marketing. Rather than publish a number that would be wrong for most people, we look at your actual requirement and send a fixed, written quote — free and with no obligation.

How long does it take?

Most straightforward business websites go live within one to two weeks of us receiving your content and approvals. Larger sites, catalogues or booking systems take longer. You get a firm timeline in writing before we start, and the biggest variable is usually how quickly feedback and photos come back to us.

I have no idea what I want. Is that a problem?

Not at all — that is the normal starting point. Our first call is exactly for this. We ask about your business, your customers and your competitors, then propose a structure. You react to something concrete instead of staring at a blank page.

I do not have photos or written content.

We write all the content for you based on our conversation. For photos we can guide you on taking good ones with a phone, or source appropriate stock imagery. Real photos of your premises, team and work always perform better, so we push for those where we can.

Domains, hosting & ownership

Do I own my website and domain?

Yes. We register the domain in your business name and your business owns the content. If you ever decide to work with someone else, we hand over what belongs to you without drama or hostage-taking.

What is a domain, and what is hosting?

The domain is your address — the name people type, like yourbusiness.com. You pay a small annual fee to keep it registered.

Hosting is the space your website actually lives in, so it is available when someone visits. That is a recurring cost too.

We arrange and manage both. You get one point of contact rather than two invoices from companies you have never spoken to.

What happens if I stop paying for hosting?

Your site goes offline — that is true of any host, not just us. We will remind you well in advance, and if you do decide to leave we will give you a copy of your site files and content so nothing is lost.

Can you take over a website someone else built?

Usually yes. We will review what you have, tell you honestly whether it is worth keeping and improving or rebuilding, and handle the migration either way. The review is free.

Is my website secure?

Every site we build gets a free SSL certificate so it loads over HTTPS with the padlock — browsers actively warn visitors away from sites without one. On our care plans we also apply security updates and keep off-site backups so a problem is recoverable.

Getting found & marketing

Will my website appear on Google straight away?

It will be submitted to Google at launch and typically appears in search within days. Ranking well for competitive terms is a different matter — that takes ongoing SEO work over months. Anyone promising you a number-one ranking in a week is not being straight with you.

What is a Google Business Profile and why do you keep mentioning it?

It is the business listing that appears on Google Maps and in the box on the right of search results, with your photos, hours, reviews and directions. For most local businesses it drives more calls than the website itself, it is free, and it is badly neglected by almost everyone. We set it up properly as part of every project.

Do I need digital marketing as well?

Not always. If you are already getting steady enquiries and just needed a credible online presence, a good website and a well-maintained Google listing may be enough. Marketing makes sense when you want more volume than your current word of mouth delivers. We will tell you honestly which situation you are in.

How do I know the marketing is working?

We set up analytics and call, form and message tracking at the start, so we can show you how many people found you, how they found you, and how many actually got in touch. You get a one-page monthly summary in plain English — not a chart dump.

Working with us

How many changes can I ask for?

We revise the design and content until you are genuinely happy with it — that is part of the project, not an extra. What is quoted separately is new scope: extra pages, new features or a change of direction after approval. We will always tell you before something counts as extra.

What if I need to change something after launch?

Message us. On a care plan, routine changes — prices, hours, photos, a new service, a festival offer — are included. Larger additions are quoted first so you are never surprised.

Am I locked into a contract?

No long lock-ins. The website build is a one-time project. Hosting, care plans and marketing retainers are ongoing but can be cancelled with reasonable notice, and your domain and content remain yours.

How do we communicate?

However suits you — WhatsApp, phone or email. Most of our clients prefer WhatsApp, and we are comfortable working entirely that way. You get a named person, not a ticket queue.

Do you work with businesses outside my city?

Yes. The entire process works remotely over calls, WhatsApp and preview links, so location is not a constraint. We build for businesses across India.
